![]() ![]() This pull of emotions of the past and present was a tug of war that clearly should have one winner. ![]() ![]() Normally in a love triangle, I would have already would have picked the guy that I was rooting for at this halfway point in the book, but I couldn’t picked one for the life of me. I was completely torn as to which man should I be rooting for. Each men were complete opposites and yet had something to offer to the heroine. Two men and one woman and yet your heart is torn. Pam has this masterful visceral way of drawing readers to be intoxicated with her characters and the story that is being taken place. The writing was more than promising as it was phenomenal. One Is A Promise is not your typical love story as this book takes you on emotional and sensual ride. The real fight is in making the best of it, making a difference, and appreciating the small glimmers of happiness. Keeping that in mind, I still wanted to read One Is A Promise since that blurb from Pam Godwin was so enticing and also the fact that I adore this author’s way of drawing deep raw emotions from her readers. ![]() I am one of those readers who has mixed feelings about them.
